Zamar.com offers a free online file conversion utility. You simply upload a file to their server and they’ll email you your converted version or allow you to download it from their site. They’ll convert files up to 100MB. This is really helpful for converting different documents and audio or video files. I like being able to word docs to PDF. Enjoy!

Google has added a new feature to their maps. When you search for a generic keyword and location, the phone numbers are listed as always. Now you can simply click on the call button and type in your phone number. Google will then call your phone with the business number that you are trying to connect to as the caller id. When you pick up, it will then connect to the business. There is no charge or long distance fee for this, however cell minutes will apply. You can check out the official google blog post at:

and to use this feature, be sure to visit:

Hello Blog readers,
I have a bit of sad news to report. One of the players on our U10 Boys soccer team, Jeremy Copeland, has lost his father to a heart attack. You can read more about this and learn how to donate to his scholarship fund by going to:

Thank you very much for your contribution and support!

I came across this via lifehacker. Daily Lit is a service that lets you read classic novels that are in the public domain. The neat thing is they automatically break them up into small pieces and email them to you at a time you determine. If you want to read more, just click on the link in the email. Brilliant! You can check out DailyLit here.. I’m already enjoying David Copperfield by Dickens. Enjoy!

How many times do Philly sports fans have to relive this nightmare? What an amazing game thru 3 quarters of football. Then we shoot ourselves in the foot. The fumbles killed us. Both Westbrook’s fumble and the fumble that was recovered by the Giants in the end zone for the touchdown. 17 Points up going into the fourth quarter and we lost. Oh, and Kearse is lost for the season!
On a positive note, I did like what I saw from the team. I think that they showed that they can hang with one of the best in the NFC. Yeah, I know it isn’t that strong to begin with. Hopefully they’ll bounce back next week with a win over San Fran.
Go Birds!
